Siegfried Thiel

1923 – 1942

Siegfied Thiel was born in 1923 in Bischofswerda in Sachsen as the eldest of twin sons of Peter Johannes Thiel and his second wife, Lina Ostermeyer. After attending school he became a soldier at a very early age and fought for the German Army in the Second World War. He died during the war in Freiburg am Breisgau in southern Germany after a severe illness.
